In the year 2015 I gain 15 pounds! I can handle the extra pounds but what I can't really handle is the bulges around my stomach that is now impossible to hide. As a food person, the mere thought of diet is a torture, so I think my only option here is to cut down but bad habits and replace it with healthier options.
I must say diet pills don’t work with me too. I tried one I have bought from Healthy Options and it caused me to palpitate and that’s kinda scary, right? Anyhow, I just bought a juicer and this is my new snack right now. In our area my options are limited, here are my juice recipes.
Below are my guaranteed cheap favorite mix, these are just my combination just the available fruits and veggies in our location.
- Carrots and apple
- Carrots and cucumber
- Cucumber and ginger
- Moringa, cucumber and ginger (for my hyper acidity)
- Pure water melon
- Broccoli and pine apple
It’s not everyday I have time to juice though, as it takes time to buy the ingredients and clean the pulp. So on a busy day I will just drop for some coconut juice or Tipco juice in the supermarket. I still prefer homemade juices but Tipco is a good alternative and they have many flavors to choose from so all their flavors are delicious.
My friend also have me tasted a ginger juice, I don’t think it’s available in my location but it tasted so good and I really like ginger, it’s called Ginger Shots. We all know that ginger has an amazing health benefits, so if Ginger shots can be available in our area, that would be really nice. I would be their number 1 consumer.
So guys, honestly I haven’t shed any pounds yet but I’m absolutely feeling better. I also feel like my skin is getting its new moisture and I’m happy to say I haven’t drunk soft drinks or any carbonated drinks this past weeks and I think I’m on to something now. I’m excited to hit the gym and see some results anytime soon.
